Enterprise Access Recovery Fee

As a provider of internet connectivity and voice services to the consumer and enterprise space, Rise Broadband is subject to certain mandated regulations from the FCC and other regulatory authorities. Consequently, Rise Broadband’s service rates and charges are subject to the imposition of additional charges, surcharges or taxes as a result of those regulations.

While we do our very best to ensure that these additional costs do not impact your services, we have to increase our standard access recovery fee to 7.4%. This increase will impact any enterprise customers who currently see the access recovery fee on their monthly invoice.  This change will be effective on all invoices generated on or after January 15th.  To determine if this change will impact you, simply review any past invoice to see if you are currently being charged this fee.  This fee, while not a tax, can be found in the “Tax” section of your invoice.

The access recovery fee is used to offset costs associated with Rise Broadband’s compliance with the mandated regulations of the FCC and other regulatory authorities and to ensure we are able to continue to provide you with the best choice for your businesses voice and internet service needs.
