Rise Fiber F.A.Q.
How long does installation take? In most cases, 2 – 4 hours. This includes burying the cable, running it to the inside of your location, and setting up your home connection.
Who needs to be home? We must have an adult 18 years or older present in order to begin the installation process.
Do you need to dig in my yard? We will need to dig a narrow trench to bury the fiber cable in, which will be immediately filled back in after the cable is placed.
Will you be installing equipment in my house? Yes; a small device will be installed that converts the fiber connection to ethernet, similar to many existing devices in your home!
Do I need any equipment? All you need is a dual band or higher gig-capable router. If you don’t have one, we also offer a Wi-Fi 6 Deco X21 Managed Router for a small fee.
