Can I have VOIP service connected with my fiber?
Yes! Rise is excited to be able to offer home phone in addition to our super fast speeds.
What steps should I take if my service is slow?
The first step is to ensure you are connected to a 5G network. If the issues persist, try rebooting your router. In addition, testing more than one device in your hold can identify if it’s an issue with your Rise service or an issue with the connection(s) in your home.
Can I get Rise fiber in my apartment?
In most cases, yes!
Is there equipment that needs to be installed in my house?
Yes, there is a small device (ONT) that converts the fiber connection to ethernet like many of the devices in your home.
How soon can I get fiber service in my area?
We are moving as fast as we can to bring fiber to as many communities as possible. You can check https://www.risebroadband.com/rise-fiber/ for updates on where fiber will be available soon.
Do you need to dig in my yard?
Yes, our equipment creates a narrow trench that the fiber is buried in and is immediately filled back in.
What speeds are available?
Speeds up to 100/250/1000 Mbps for Residential and up to 200/250/1000 Mbps for Small Business.
Is there a monthly charge for Rise provided equipment?
At this time no additional equipment is required for Rise fiber service. An an optional router and mesh network available for an additional monthly charge.
Can I use my existing equipment?
If you currently have Rise wireless service, we will remove the wireless equipment from your property after your fiber install is complete.
